Hey girl, wanna take a bath?
Hey girl, wanna take a bath?
Teaching myself how to edit bad lighting instead of just slapping a filter over it. Work in progress!
This is Poppy. She loves to play and run and get dirty and holds her own with dogs twice her size.
“I’m not single. I have a dog.”
This is Sierra. She is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and A Very Good Girl. She’s been coming to daycare since she was a baby, so nothing really upsets her and she can fall asleep in the middle of anything.
I’m not feeling very well today, and Brady can tell. He keeps coming to check on me and he will lay beside me even when I know he’d rather be playing. ❤️🐾❤️
This is Alfie. He’s in one of our basic obedience classes and came to daycare for the first time yesterday. He had the best time, acted like he’s been coming his whole life, and wrapped me around his little paw. He’s wonderful.
Anyone else? No? I’m the only weirdo who can’t figure out how to make friends as an adult?
This is Koda. I’m told he’s a Samoyed, but he’s clearly part polar bear.
Wearing a shirt that I have always considered “too tight” because my stomach happens to have a few rolls and this shirt happens to touch them. I have not lost weight. I am instead working on losing the idea that my body is “supposed to” look like anything other than what it is.
This isn’t real, yet, but it will be! Made some test footprints on paper to give my artist and did the last one right on my leg to test placement and of course it was the best one.
Played in the pool, had wet zoomies, and now everyone is already tired! Proud of Brady for being better at sharing me; a month ago he would not have been able to lie down with another dog this close to us. We are so lucky that he is allowed to come to work with me and have the opportunity to learn and grow in the best environment.
Seriously. How is she this photogenic?! (She’s boarding this week/end, so extra Ollie time!)
Thank you, Past Me, for not overstuffing yourself and leaving Present Me delicious cold pizza to have for dinner.
Earning the trust of this beautiful girl has been so rewarding. She now happily comes to sit at my feet and loves butt scratches and belly rubs. In her watchful Aussie way, she will look at me across the yard and check in, as if to ask, “Are you okay? Do you need me?” I love her.
We haven’t even reached peak humidity and my frizz already has its own frizz.
Pensive puppy looks sad, but is really about to fall asleep after dinner and a treat.
Add water to a Golden Retriever and he floats! A little soak in the pool and Otis is a puppy again.
Remember super-serious Lola from last week? Today she decided to show off her silly side and get some sun.
I feel like he’s trolling me. Yes, I will Sit-Stay. Yes, I will look at the camera. Yes, I will totally stick my tongue out instead of smile.
Today’s All Day Mama and Brady Times started with a walk on the South County Bike Path, included a wonderful stop at @fetchri for delicious treats, patiently posing with the treats (and earning lots of praise for being so good at Wait), and then a well-deserved nap on some laundry waiting to go in the washer.
This is Lola. She was a showgirl.
I post a lot of dog photos from work, but right now I’m bed-bound until my own snugglepuppy wakes up. I love him so much.
Newfoundland puppy at work today!!! His name is Blue and he is the goodest boy.
Groovy and Hannah looking like they’re holding hands on a date. Such good kids.
